“Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.”
~ Dale Carnegie
There is no doubt that fear is a powerful force in our lives. Unfortunately, we let it rule our lives in many ways. Fear keeps us from taking action, and the lack of action helps the fear to grow and strengthen. The longer we let fear control what we do, or more importantly, what we don’t do, the stronger and more ingrained it becomes in our lives.
Conquering the fear takes courage. Fear must be faced with faith it will recede as we turn and charge it. Courage is feeling the fear and taking action in spite of it. As you begin to take action, you will find your fears don’t materialize. The more action you take, the more you will realize the fear is not real. Soon you will be moving confidently in the direction of your dreams. Each time you face the fear the less power it will hold over you. Take action and conquer the fear.
What are you terrified to do? What action can you take toward this – now – today?
