“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
~ Mark Twain
When you take action on something you are taking the risk it will not turn out the way you intend. At the same time, you are giving possibility to the fulfillment of what you envision. If you take no action, if you don’t try, you are guaranteeing that your vision will never come to be. Are you willing to take a chance that something will not come to pass, or are you willing to allow it to be a certainty?
Live your life in such a way you don’t give regret a chance. If you try and don’t succeed, you have not failed. You have found something that won’t work. You can keep trying. But if you don’t try, you will never succeed. Your vision is a part of your soul. Don’t look back at your life and regret that you never gave that part of your soul a chance to materialize, to become alive. Regret for things not attempted will far outweigh regret for things attempted but not successful.
What regrets are you not willing to live with? What regrets for things not attempted do you already have? It is never too late, kill that regret now.
