There are always new, grander challenges to confront, and a true winner will embrace each one.

What would your life be like if you were always happy? What would your life be like if you didn't have to struggle or if there was never any pain? Do you think you would want a life like that? Do you feel that you would benefit from such a life?
Often, as we travel our journey through this life, we wish for something different than what is our current perception of reality. This is quite normal and it is what moves our lives forward. We often think that we would be very happy with our lives if everything always ran smoothly, if there were never any problems. I beg to differ.
If your life were always perfect and problem free, you would have nothing to inspire you. You would never move forward with anything, because there would be no reason to. Everything would be as you wish, so you would have no reason to change anything. Life would be boring...pointless.
It is our desire for something more that gives us the incentive to go on living. It is the wish for something different that prompts us to move in a different direction, to stretch, to grow. The things in our lives that we don't like or don't want are the driving force that make life worth living.
All of the pain and suffering that we experience or witness, all of the problems and challenges that come our way, all of our dislikes, spur us on to growth along our path through this life. Accept what is. Embrace life – all of it. Appreciate the things that you wish to change or do away with, for they are what makes your life worth living. These things drive you toward your purpose in life...to experience, determine preferences and move toward creating a life that lives these preferences.
When you step back and take a larger perspective, you can appreciate and embrace the things that you feel are wrong or unpleasant in your life. I encourage you to take some time to reflect on this. I encourage you to savour the deliciousness of it all. The pain, the suffering, the challenges...it's all worth it.
