Life is for the Living

“Life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely, in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting ‘Holy shit, what a ride!’”

~ Mavis Leyrer

Living life to the fullest is not something most of us are used to doing. We tend to be cautious in our approach to life. We do what we feel is safe, we take no risks. This is the way that we have been taught to live, but it does not make for a very fulfilling life.

Live large. Live out loud. Take risks and reap the rewards. We will all end up in the same place at the end of our lives. None of us will be more or less dead than anyone else…but, while we live, we can certainly be more alive. Live life’s adventure. Experience the exhilaration of going beyond the mundane and safe. Be the person you want to be. Be the person that minstrels write their songs about. Truly live.

What will the minstrels sing about you?
